Rapping Paper–must have

wrappingpaper

There is a strong chance that anyone who gets a present from me in the coming months, will have it wrapped in this AMAZING paper from rappingpaper.co.uk.

They’ve typeset the lyrics to Run DMC, Sugarhill Gang and everyone’s favourite gift-giver, Eminem – onto some nice quality wrapping paper.

They also get bonus points for using an old school Adidas box for the wrapping tutorial. Awesome stuff.

Hero–Effort

The gratification comes in the doing, not in the results. James Dean.

Something didn’t work yesterday – I didn’t notice that this hadn’t been posted. I was too busy ‘doing’, and it is absolutely true… if you make work your friend, then it becomes a lot easier.

Which digital distraction is biggest?

Getting Things Done has become an industry in its own right – as have the zillions of productivity blogs that have popped up to grab our interest. It is easy to become obsessed with getting productive, rather than actually doing the stuff in the first place.

However, it is actually quite simple – there is a hierarchy of distractions, where one channel trumps the next and evokes specific emotions.

This chart explains exactly what is at the top of the chart – a text message is only trumped by a loved one shutting the laptop on your fingers!

Post-modern birdbox anyone?

Detailaufnahme

Very clever bird box modelled to look like a CCTV camera – nice sense of humour indeed. Joking apart, I’d imagine that it may make intruders think twice before coming over the fence into your garden!

German language website has all the details – anyone know if these are available in the UK? I’d have one, I can just picture the place I’d put it at home.
