I thought it was about time that I got the headphones out and put together  a new DJ mix for you to download free.

So Sunday afternoon was spent making lots of noise, sorting through tunes and finding the best of the best to put in the mix.

And here it is – DRINK.YOUR.MILKSHAKE. In honour of my favourite quote of the moment and featuring some sample-tastic action, a collection of club bangers and tweaking house goodness for you.

• Jeff Samuel – Fire : Sort of gentle, tech-y house from Poker Flat recordings to open the set with from Seattle/Berlin DJ
• Dirty South – Minority (Dirty South Mix) : Still one of my favourite producers – I love the percussion on this tune as it reminds me of some of the big house tunes we used to drop back in ’98/’99
• Daso – Thujon : Awesome tune from the Absinthe EP from 2007 – still a massive favourite of mine with an eerie breakdown
• Laidback Luke – Hot Hot Hotter : Big, bottom heavy party tune from Electron Records. I’ve been a big fan of Laidback Luke for a long time, this is a sort of Detroit sounding tune that works on so many levels.
• JF pres Smokecream – Retox (Wendal Kos Mix) : Blistering remix of this electro-y tune out of Germany I think.
• Depeche Mode – Enjoy the Silence 2008 : Wicked remix of one of my all-time favourite tunes, I think this is by Joachim Garraud, superb bass led remix that sounds awesome on a big room system with the aweseom synth line kept fully in tact.
• Martin Solveig – C’est La Vie (Fedde vs Martin Club Mix) :  I love the tweaky little keyboard sounds on this tune – I’m not entirely sure who its by…but my copy is labelled like that, so we’ll go for that!
• John Dahlback – Blink : almost a year old taken from the 20 EP on Vendetta records, but I still love this…the unrelenting bassline and clever vocal sample make it such a good track in the mix, and the fat bass noises make it sound unbelievable on the dancefloor.
• DONS and DBN feat Kadoc – The Nighttrain : Another of my all-time club favourites gets the 2008 treatment, originally on a label I used to follow religiously (Dos Or Die) now back on Time Records this is a huge party tune that is guaranteed to get the floor rocking at peak times.
• Felix da Housecat – Like Something for Porno (Armand Van helden Mix) : Huge club tune from 2007 gets the remix treatment from AVH, complete with brutal electro melody, kind of go-go percussion and orchestral stabs coupled with bad-ass grime-y bassline.
• Mr E vs Samim – Work the Heater : Nice mash-up of the classic house track with the surprise summer hit from Samim, excellent party tune.

• Deadmau5 – Faxing Berlin : smooth, proggy track that eases us into the mix with a thudding bassline
• Noir – Super Skunk (Deadmau5 Mix) : Wicked tune, reminds me a lot of some of early hard house tunes, slowed down for gentler times (and older DJ’s!) but still with bags of bounce and energy.
• Mark Ronson – Stop Me (Dirty South Mix) : New York style Radiohead cover gets a bottom heavy workout from Dirty South with great vocals from Daniel Merriweather
• Dirty South – Let it go : wicked guitars, coupled with a cool vocal drive this bass heavy, funked up tune
• Josh Wink – Higher State of Consciousness (Marco V Mix) : All time classic (and BigMan favourite) is given a tuff sounding remix by dutch trance master Marco V
• Dave Spoon feat Lisa Maffia – Bad Girl at Night (Beat Vandals Mix) : So Solid girl gets Super solid breaks mix from the Beat Vandals
• Peter Bjorn & John – Young Folks (Scumfrog Remix) : One of the biggest tracks of the year  (and 2006!) gets a very cool remix with a very phat bassline  from Scumfrog – will you ever get ‘that whistle’ out of your head?
• James Zabiela & Nic Fanciulli – No Pressure (Deadmau5 Remix) : Toronto based Deadmau5 once again does the business on this progressively trancey remix.
• Gus Gus – Need in Me (Luke Walker : 2005 release gets a 303 heavy remix from Luke Walker, complete with 80′s style synthdrums and a little polish from the breakbeat cloth.
• Underworld – Born Slippy (WMC 2007 Remix) : The second all time classic of the mix gets a rerub for 2007, I heard this a few times from the Miami Music Conference and always wanted to include it in a mix…love the crowd noise and the tempting runs of the classic keyboard riff.
