I thought it was about time that I got the headphones out and put together  a new DJ mix for you to download free.

So Sunday afternoon was spent making lots of noise, sorting through tunes and finding the best of the best to put in the mix.

I’m off on vacation for a week – and I always like to take a new mix to listen to during my travels, so I put this together…and left for you to download and enjoy! These are some of my personal favourites from the dancefloor at the moment – taking in some of the more progressive and bass heavy recesses of the record box.

Sept 2007 – Amazing Dreams – Funky House

Brand new mix for you to download and enjoy – built around some superb bouncy house music around at the moment – from the superb voices of Roisin Murphy (Moloko) and Sia (Zero 7), through to the DJ genius of Roger Sanchez. Theres a remake of a true classic : Love can’t turn around by N-Joi and a brilliant lift of Alanis Morrisette on the new Freemasons tune – Uninvited.  This one is a little more commercial than a few of my recent house sets, but the mixes I have used are definitely my choice of the pack – all bass-heavy, pumping cuts that should be excellent for the dancefloor, the car or the gym.
