Sunday Inspiration #25

A beautiful weekend here in Maidenhead, something like 70 degrees yesterday, sunglasses, shorts and barbecues were the order of the day. Today, the sun was bright and warm at 6am – and I was browsing for inspiration, suddenly realising I didn’t need much as the day was looking so beautiful… but you just might.

Musical selection of the day – Turin Brakes – They Can’t buy the Sunshine – I love this group, and this song seems apt for the day.

• The Elephant Parade is in London – I need to get out one morning with the camera whilst the sun is still shining.
• 13 year old boy climbs Everest – extraordinary, when I was 13 I was stuck in my bedroom listening to Depeche Mode records.
• A bird every day – a picture of a new bird, every day, for a whole year. Marvellous.
• Caitlin Moran meets Lady Gaga – fantastic article and interview from the Times, including answers the that question. I’ll let you work out why I think the interview is inspirational – its pretty revelatory.
• The special one does the treble – recalling Inter Milans glory days, the inspirational Mourinho has achieved at the highest level. Again.
