Sunday Inspiration #16
Valentine or not? That is the question today… buried under a mountain of cards and messages or a single wish – either way, I hope you have exactly what you need. If after that, you still need something to warm your cockles – how about some Sunday inspiration, first up – is our music choice. The Hollies – Air that I Breathe, is one my favourite songs of all time, with the most beautiful lyrics:
If I could make a wish
I think I’d pass
Can’t think of anything I need
No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound
Nothing to eat, no books to read.
Give that tune a spin – and then join me for a wander around some great links for this lazy Sunday.
- The Big Picture in Vancouver – a spectacular photoset from the opening ceremony of the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver. I was up in Whistler last year, and the excitement was palpable, every souvenir had the symbol of the games on it. I wish I could make a visit this year and watch some of the cool events.
- Haikea – take some Haiku, about Ikea furniture – and this is what you get. Poetry for the furniture of melancholy.
- Incredible Landscape Photography – wonderful series of landscapes from this new photographer – this is a particular favourite of mine.
- Finally – if you need a loved up wallpaper for your valentine crush. You’ll find them here. A great selection of valentines desktop wallpaper.
What has you inspired today?
