- Slumdog Millionaire
- Juno
- There will be Blood
- Lost in Translation
- The Dark Knight
- The Wrestler
- City of Ember
- The Lives of Others

Good list. Honourable mentions from recent months would for me include Moon and The Hurt Locker. I think at least three animated films would make my top ten but I’m still catching up on a few before I could say for certain which they’d be.

Yep – I loved Moon and the Hurt Locker, but I was trying to go for the whole of the decade, so they got edged out by some older movies…honorable mention for Hard Candy for me as well which was a great movie.

Interesting choice of movies. I guess The Departed by Scorsese would be absolutely on top of my list for this decade.

Yeah. I was struggling to recall older films without checking/looking things up (was Memento this decade or a 90s film? — I’ll check when I get home). You forgot Transformers 2, though.
