Move over Winehouse? - this is Aimee Ann Duffy (or just ‘Duffy’ to you and me) with her single ‘Mercy’
Duffy hails from North Wales - and sounds like she is channeling the spirit of Dusty Springfield on her tracks - I love this tune.
Apparently - Bernard Butler (formerly of Suede) has been working on her album, alongside the amazing David McAlmont, so she has provenance as well as talent.
