Took a drive across the Lincolnshire wolds today - to Sutton-on-Sea, and found ourselves in the midst of some serious sea fog. I love the look of these little beach huts, lined up against the grey of the promenade and the fog rolling in from the North Sea. Apparently, some of these huts sell for between 9 and 11 thousand pounds - which is astonishing for something a little larger than a shed, but I can see the attraction.
Given the grey weather and the chill in the air - we did the only proper thing, fish and chips at ‘The Dolphin‘ which is on the main street away from the center of Sutton. It is absolutely spot on, sitting in a timewarp but serving fantastic fish and chips, with bread and butter and a tea for a little over 6 pounds. Perfect.
