It has been ages since I did a DJ mix – and I thought it would be a great way celebrate ‘winterval’ or whatever its called these days.

"In preparing for battle I have always found that plans are useless, but planning is indispensable."
- Dwight D Eisenhower

Finally some news about a new Morrissey album – the follow up to one of my favourite albums of 2006 – Ringleader of the Tormentors.
Some of the tracks were debuted at the UK gigs in early 2008. Certainly some of the tracks on this list are in that setlist, but no confirmation that ‘All you need is me’ makes it onto the album
I cannot wait for this album to be released – and I’d love a review copy if anyone reads this !
Apparently due to be released on 16th Feb 2009 – the tracklisting appears to be as follows:
- That’s How People Grow Up
- I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris
- Sorry Doesn’t Help
- When Last I Spoke To Carol
- Mama Lay Softly On The Riverbed
- I’m OK By Myself
- Something Is Squeezing My Skull
- Black Cloud
- You Were Good In Your Time
- I’m Looking Forward To Going Back
- I Was Bully, Do Not Forget Me
- One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell

I’ve been seeing some virus alerts today when accessing YouTube, each one was quarantined and fixed by my virus software, but I did some searching and it looks like it is quite widespread, watch out for any crazy behaviour and make sure your shields are up.
Today’s weather is completely schizophrenic…and yet, it is much less exciting than that – dull, grey and damp.
I know that everyone is struggling for cash, but I reckon that a couple less lattes this week could help you find a few quid for this campaign. Helping girls, to help their families – The Girl Effect.
Do you still remember when we were little,
We were playing the park and you asked me, “What happens when we die?”
And I said, "You forget everything. Everything."
"Even you?" You asked.
"Yes. Even me."
You did not want to die, never forget
The remains of what we used to have were taken away with the softest squeeze
"How did I forget? How?"

More to come on this amazing musician.
…there is always the internets – and this hysterical rendering of Bohemian Rhapsody on the Danny Baker radio show – thanks JK for this one.
PS – put your headphones in and listen very carefully!
