So, here I am in Germany - fairly uneventful week in the US, followed by the fun and games of a flight from Seattle to London and then a connection across to Dusseldorf. I’m pretty lucky with business travel, and then yesterday it all happened. Firstly when I got off the plane at Dusseldorf my cellphone wasn’t working - there is a line across the screen and I can’t read anything - it still receives calls, but I can’t see who from and i can’t dial out. Then, my bag didn’t arrive…I was standing at the belt when I heard my name paged. Turned out my bag was on the next flight, and after some wrestling with german customs (who didn’t like my new CD’s or the software I bought in Seattle) I finally got the bag delivered to my hotel last night at around 11pm. And finally, my Avis booking hadn’t arrived in Dusseldorf, so I had to wait ages to rent a car, and when I finally did - I got a Mercedes A-Class, which is a shocking excuse for a car.
All of that - before jetlag induced sleep and a lazy bank holiday here in Munster. I figure thats my ‘three’ for the travel problems…live should be much easier now!
New mix - next weekend…looking forward to mixing some new tunes!

[...] I arrived at Seattle at 5.30ish local time yesterday afternoon, and whilst waiting in line for immigration I heard my name being paged in the baggage arrival hall below - I immediately got that sinking feeling after having the same thing at Dusseldorf a couple of months ago. [...]
