I’m in Seattle at the moment for a series of meetings - I really enjoy my trips abroad, and I enjoy the US - good working environment, lovely people, some good (cheap) shopping, and great food (and coffee in Seattle), but really - what is it about American rental cars? This trip, I have been given a Lincoln Town Car, with all they style, handling and grace of a canal barge. Admittedly it has ALL the features - adjustable pedals (!?) and three seatbelts in the front…but its an almost pearlescent white, and it must be about a quarter of a mile long. Its a truly shocking car to drive…and pretty hideous to look at - all I need is some hydraulic wheels and some Dre playing, and I’ll be fully pimped.
