I’ve polished off a good pile of movies recently – and forgot to mention them all – so heres 4 of them, with very quick reviews.
Hide and Seek – slightly scary, supernatural movie starring Robert De Niro and Dakota Fanning - 6/10.
The Jacket - Bloody scary film starring Adrien Brody as a Gulf War veteran who discovers a link to the future from within a mental hospital straight jacket. Can he fix his future with Kiera Knightly. Frightened my pants off! 9/10.
Beyond the Sea – Excellent biopic of Bobby Darin, starring Kevin Spacey as the sickly Darin as he progresses through club singing, to movies and internation stardom. Excellently acted. 8/10.
The Life and Death of Peter Sellers – biopic of one of the all time great comedy actors, starring Geoffrey Rush as the destructive Sellers. Confusing narrative is made up for by great support cast…includinding Charlize Theron and Emily Watson. 7/10.
